“Cue The Birds” borrows its title from cinematic language: an invocation of timing, chance, and quiet choreography. Mark Abramson’s images unfold like film stills in which the ordinary world suddenly performs: birds crossing the frame at the right second, gestures aligning by coincidence, fragments of life suspended between humor and grace. Working between Washington D.C. and New York, Abramson captures the subtle theatre of daily life, where the political and the personal, the staged and the spontaneous, constantly overlap. His eye lingers on the unscripted poetry of the streets, transforming fleeting instants into visual rhythm. Both playful and contemplative, ”Cue The Birds” turns observation into a form of wonder, an invitation to notice how, sometimes, reality cues itself.
