“As it Happened” is the first monograph by Thai street photographer Sakulchai Sikitikul, featuring a foreword by Mel Breyer. This limited edition book showcases 110 captivating photographs that reveal the extraordinary within the everyday, captured with a sharp graphic sensibility in the photographer’s hometown. Sikitikul’s work challenges the conventional approach to street photography, inviting us to see familiar paths through fresh eyes. By walking the same streets at different times, he finds endless possibilities for unexpected moments, reminding us to stay alert and open to the subtle wonders that surround us. From major events to the smallest details—fashion, costumes, or how people interact—Sikitikul’s photographs preserve the fleeting essence of his social and cultural context.
“As it Happened” comes in two different limited-editions: White Edition and Black Edition. The Black Edition features one unique Fine Art Photograph (30×20 cm) that has never been printed for sales before, and exclusively available through the purchasing of the book only.
